A man caught burglarizing a Matthews Beach home earlier this week told police he was not the criminal mastermind behind the break-in, and made his case by trying to bribe a cop, while on camera. Detectives haven’t yet confirmed the man’s role in planning the burglary, but are now looking to arrest two other suspects involved in the case.
The home’s surveillance cameras captured three men arriving together at the scene, and police are now searching for the two of the suspects who fled before police arrived.
