A concerned neighbor scared off three masked suspects in a North Seattle home invasion Monday after hearing screams coming from the victim’s home.
The victim of the robbery told officers she began screaming when three men forced their way into her home in the 14000 block of Midvale Ave North shortly before 8AM.
One of the suspects grabbed the victim, held a gun to her head, and threatened to kill her. A neighbor heard the woman’s screams and entered the victim’s home to investigate, startling the suspects. The three men fled the home without taking anything.
The victim said the suspects were all men in their mid-20s, tall, with heavy builds, wearing masks and black clothing.
Officers and a K9 team searched the neighborhood, but were unable to find the suspects. Robbery detectives are investigating. The victim was not seriously injured in the incident.
