Police are investigating after one vehicle was damaged in a shooting Thursday afternoon in the Dunlap neighborhood.
Witnesses called 911 around 3:15 PM and reported a gunman had stepped out of a car stopped at a traffic light at Renton Ave S and S Cloverdale St, and opened fire on another vehicle stopped ahead of his car.
Both the gunman and the driver of the car targeted in the shooting sped away from the scene before officers arrived. Police collected shell casings from the street, and discovered a third car, which was uninvolved in the incident, sustained bullet damage in the incident.
Police are still searching for both vehicles involved in the shooting, and are asking anyone with information to call 911 and ask to speak to an officer.
