Update: Man Seriously Wounded In Rainier Avenue Gas Station Shooting

UPDATE:

Seattle Police SWAT units served a warrant at a home in the 4600 block of S. Raymond Pl. Tuesday afternoon while searching for the suspected gunman.

Police did not locate the man at the home, but impounded a silver Lincoln Navigator and continue to search for the suspect.


 

One man was seriously wounded in a shooting Tuesday morning following a confrontation at a Rainier Avenue gas station.

The suspect in the shooting confronted the victim just after 9 AM outside the gas station, in the 7300 block of Rainier Avenue S.

The two men argued, before the suspect drew a gun and shot the victim once in the face.

The suspect fled the scene in a silver Lincoln Navigator before police arrived.

Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
