Police have arrested four men after an abduction from a Queen Anne home Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Queen Anne North at about 11 AM to investigate a report of a disturbance during an apparent ‘intervention’ gone wrong. Officers directed the caller’s boyfriend to leave as his presence was a source of conflict with the others present. Unbeknownst to officers, the caller’s husband followed his wife’s boyfriend out and abducted him.
The husband assaulted the boyfriend, bound him, put him into his four-door Lexus and drove away.
Officers began searching for the suspect and quickly learned that he committed a hit and run collision at 40th and Stone Way North during his escape attempt. Police called the man on his cell phone and persuaded him to surrender.
Officers arrested the suspect and freed the victim.
The victim is currently receiving treatment at Harborview Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries he sustained during the course of being assaulted and abducted.
Police arrested three additional adult male accomplices at the original scene and believe that all involved suspects are now in custody.
Detectives have responded and have taken responsibility for continuing other investigation. All four men will be booked into King County Jail on investigation of kidnapping.
