Officers arrested a man for drug dealing Saturday afternoon at a Downtown Seattle park.
Officers Wes Collier and Mike Virgilio were at Victor Steinbrueck Park watching the crowds as folks enjoyed the weather and nearby Pike Place Market when they received complaints of a man thought to be dealing drugs.
The suspect, unaware he was now being watched by police, continued to sell. Officers Virgilio and Collier watched the man make several more hand-to-hand transactions, receiving money and passing out an unknown substance. Based on what they witnessed the officers developed probable cause and made the arrest.
Police found the man to be carrying an additional 3.1 grams of crack cocaine and $175 cash. Officers Collier and Virgilio booked the man into King County Jail for drug possession with the intent to sell.
