Seattle police combed the north side of Beacon Hill Friday searching for evidence and witnesses, after a man with a gunshot wound walked out of a wooded area and onto Interstate 90.
The Washington State Patrol contacted Seattle Police just before noon after Troopers found an injured man walking on the I-90 eastbound exchange, from Interstate-5. Medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
At this time, police believe the man was shot in a wooded area on North Beacon Hill, and officers and a K9 team are searching the area, with the assistance of King County’s Guardian One helicopter.
Seattle Police Department detectives are handling the investigation. We’ll update this post with more information as it becomes available.
