Officers are searching for three suspects after they robbed and assaulted a man and woman before stealing their car early Wednesday morning on Beacon Hill.
A couple were sitting in their Toyota Camry just after midnight in the 2500 block of S. Lucile St. when two black males in their twenties approached the driver’s side of the car, one armed with a handgun. The man in the car passed his wallet to the female who hid it under the passenger seat. The two suspects demanded the couple hand over their money and phones. A third black male approached the car, opened the passenger side door and secretly took the wallet. The three men then entered the car and forced the victims to drive to a nearby bank where they beat the man when he couldn’t produce his wallet. They then drove the couple to State Route 520 and Bellevue Way where they removed them from the car before driving off.
A Washington State Trooper spotted the couple along the road and called Seattle Police who took over the investigation. Seattle Fire Department Medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of a head injury.
Officers are now looking for the victim’s black Toyota Camry, WA ARM-7895. If you spot this car please call 911 and speak with an officer.
