Officers are searching for a gunman after a man was shot early Friday morning in the Dunlap neighborhood.
The victim called 911 at 1:15 AM Friday after being shot multiple times including once in the chest. The 18-year-old man was was at the corner of 46th Ave. S. and S. Henderson St. when he was fired upon by an unknown suspect. The victim was able to make his way to a nearby school before calling 911.
Officers arrived and found the victim and more than a dozen shell casings on the ground. Seattle Fire Department Medics took the victim to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. The Gang unit has taken over the investigation and is currently speaking to witnesses to develop a suspect description.
