Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was shot in Pioneer Square Monday night.
Officers responded to the 300 block of 2 Ave. Ext. S. at 9:40 pm Monday for reports of shots fired. Officers arrived in just over a minute and found a 20-year-old man with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Seattle Fire Department medics stabilized the mans injuries at the scene before they rushed him to Harborview Medical Center.
Witnesses said there was an argument between the suspect and the victim before the suspect pulled out a gun and shot multiple times. Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators are now examining evidence and speaking with witnesses.
