Seattle police are investigating after a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound was dropped off by friends at Harborview Medical Center Wednesday evening.
Police were called to Harborview around 10:45 PM after the man, who had a gunshot wound to his neck, arrived at the hospital. At the time, he was unable to provide any details about what had happened to him.
The friend who drove him there told officers that he received a phone call saying that the victim had been shot and needed a ride. The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening.
The SPD Gang Unit responded to the hospital and is continuing to investigate. Police are still working to determine the location of the shooting.
