Officers are investigating after a man with a gunshot wound was found sitting on the sidewalk Thursday in the Dunlap Neighborhood.
The victim of the shooting called police from Rainier Ave. S. and S. Rose St at 2:20 PM. Officers found the 24-year-old victim, who told officers a possible suspect had left area driving a white SUV. He refused to provide any further details. Officers, with the assistance of an ATF K-9, searched the area but were unable to find any evidence or locate a possible shooting scene.
Seattle Fire Department Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
