Detectives Develop Sketch of Suspect In Belltown Homicide

Detectives have recovered additional video and developed a sketch of a man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in the Belltown neighborhood last month.

Suspect Sketch

Surveillance cameras in the 2100 block of 3rd Avenue captured a black male and a white female speaking with the victim of the shooting around 3 AM on December 13th. Shortly after the encounter, police received reports of gunfire in the area.

Police arrived at the scene and found the victim, a man in his 40’s, with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Officers performed CPR until medics arrived and transported the man to Harborview Medical Center. The victim later died from his injuries.
After searching the area for witnesses and cameras, detectives have obtained surveillance video showing two suspects–described as a black male and white female in their 30s to 40s. Footage also shows a light-colored 1998-2003 Mercedes Benz E320 station wagon, which investigators believe may be associated with the suspects.

Homicide Detectives are asking anyone with information in this case to call the Seattle Police Tips Line at (206)233-5000.
