Three Injured In Collision At Westlake and Crockett

Three people were injured Friday morning in a multiple-vehicle crash along Westlake Avenue North.

Just before 8:45 AM, police and Seattle Fire Department medics received reports of a four vehicle collision at Westlake Ave N. and Crockett St.

Officers and medics arrived and transported one adult male with life-threatening injuries and two patients with non-life-threatening injuries to area hospitals. Three other people involved in the crash, including a young child, declined medical treatment at the scene.

Investigators are still investigating the cause of the crash, and police have closed Westlake Ave. N between Galer and Nickerson St. as detectives collect evidence and interview witnesses. Traffic impacts in the area will continue throughout the day.
