Detectives Investigating After Girls Report Assault In West Seattle

Police have increased patrols in the Roxhill/South Delridge area after two 13-year-old girls were reportedly assaulted while walking home from school Monday evening.

The victims told officers at Southwest Precinct Monday that two men had tried to grab them on the street near 22nd Avenue Southwest and Southwest Trenton Street. The victims said the men tried to force them into a nearby yard, and that both suspect were wearing hooded sweatshirts, which obscured their faces.

The victims fought the men off and ran home before before reporting the incident to police.
