Detectives are investigating after two people were shot and injured in the Columbia City neighborhood Saturday afternoon.
Shortly after 3 p.m. officers began receiving calls of shots fired at 37 Avenue South and South Genesee Street. Callers told officers that it appeared two people were injured in the shooting. Officers arrived and found two people in thier 20’s suffering from gunshot wounds. Seattle Fire Department Medics treated the two victims who were later transported to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.
Witnesses described a possible suspect vehicle as a black sedan occupied by multiple black males.
