SPD Homicide/Assault detectives are investigating after a man was wounded Sunday in a shooting at an encampment in SODO.
Police received a report of a shooting near South Royal Brougham Way and Airport Way South around 11pm and found a man with a gunshot wound lying on a planting strip. He was taken to Harborview with life-threatening injuries, but is now in stable condition.
Police learned victim had been in an argument with another man just before the shooting. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
