Detectives are working to identify two men who broke into a Beacon Hill family’s home and robbed them at gunpoint early Friday morning.
Around 4 AM, the two suspects, both dressed in dark clothing and masks, kicked in the front door of a home in theĀ 3400 block of 15th Avenue South.
The men stole cash, including a significant amount of foreign currency, and jewelry from the family at gunpoint and then fled the home.
One victim sustained a minor injury from a fall during the incident.
While home invasions are exceedingly rare in Seattle, detectives are currently investigating several other recent similar cases, which have targeted Asian families in the Beacon Hill area over the past month.
In each of the cases, suspects targeted families who kept large amounts of cash on-hand at their homes.
