Update: Homicide Detectives Investigating Early Morning Capitol Hill Shooting

Gang unit detectives are investigating after a man was shot multiple times in the Capitol Hill neighborhood Sunday morning.

Witnesses called 911 at 1:34 am reporting a man was shot at the intersection of 13 Ave and E. Olive St.

Seattle Fire Department Medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Officers spoke with several witnesses who said the suspect ran up to the victim, shot him several times, and then ran away.  The witnesses said the suspect then got into a white SUV.  The witnesses were unable to provide a detailed suspect description to detectives.
