Officers are currently searching for the suspects involved in an early morning shooting that occurred at a North Seattle motel near N. 120th and Aurora Avenue North.
At 5:40 Monday morning a 34-year-old male called 911 reporting that he had been shot in the hip when he answered the door of the room he was staying in. The victim stated he answered a knock at the door and was confronted by a black male who shot him once in the hip. According to other witnesses, 2 or 3 black males had arrived at the motel in a grey sedan and then left the area in an unknown direction immediately after the shooting. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspects or the grey sedan.
The victim has a non life-threatening gunshot wound to his hip, and was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
This remains an active and on-going investigation.
