Homicide detectives are investigating after a woman was fatally injured early this morning in Ballard.
On April 28th, just before 3:00 am, police responded to a report of an injured woman inside a motorhome in the 900 block of NW Leary Way. A male suspect was taken into custody. Seattle Fire Department transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The victim died at the hospital.
Detectives believe that the suspect and victim knew each other. The exact cause of the victim’s injuries is still under investigation. The suspect is being interviewed by detectives. Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) also responded and are processing the scene.
