Detectives from the Arson/Bomb Squad (ABS) will be conducting the investigation following an early morning fire at a residence in the Ravenna neighborhood.
Shortly after 7:00 am Tuesday morning, officers responded to the 6500 block of 23rd Avenue NE to meet with the Seattle Fire Department. The fire investigator determined that a fire in the recycling bin at the rear of the residence had been deliberately set, causing damage to the side of the house. There were no injuries to the occupants inside the residence. This remains an active and on-going investigation. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Seattle Police.
