Officers arrested three juveniles after they reportedly robbed a man exiting a marijuana dispensary in the Central District Saturday afternoon.
The 35-year-old victim was exiting a marijuana dispensary in the 2300 block of East Union Street at 3:15 p.m. Saturday. The victim said a young man ran up behind him and stole his backpack along with the product he had just purchased. The victim chased the suspect who met up with two other people all of whom were able to escape in a waiting car.
Officers searched the area and were able to find the suspects inside a car stopped near Judkins Park. Officers arrested the three suspects –two 17-year-olds and one 18-year-old– and transported them to the East Precinct for processing. Officers later booked the 18-year-old into King County Jail and the two 17-year-olds into the Youth Services Center for investigation of robbery.
