Seattle Police Detectives, working with the U.S. Marshal’s office, have arrested a 24-year-old man in Edmonds and booked him into King County Jail for investigation of murder.

Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was stabbed this morning following a disturbance in a SODO restaurant.
Witnesses began calling 911 around 2:50 a.m. Thursday to report a fight disturbance inside of a restaurant in the 2900 block of 4 Avenue South. When officers arrived they found a 27-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest. Officers called for medics who arrived quickly but were unable to save the man’s life.
Officers spoke with witnesses who said the suspect may have been wearing an athletic jersey when he fled northbound. K-9 units attempted to track the suspect but were unsuccessful. Detectives, with the help of the CSI unit, collected evidence and statements from witnesses at the scene.
