Detectives are investigating after a man was shot downtown Saturday night.
Witnesses called 911 just before 10 p.m. Saturday to report a man had been shot near 3rd Avenue and Pine Street.
Police converged on the area and found the victim who had been shot twice including once in the face. Officers provided first aid for the man until Seattle Fire Department Medics were able to transport him to Harborview Medical Center.
Witnesses told detectives they saw the victim and another man arguing just before a third person approached and shot the victim at close range. Witnesses were unable to provide detectives with a detailed description of the suspect at this time.
