(Update x2) Smash and Grab Robbery at Downtown Jewelry Store

UPDATE 4/20/2018: Today, the SPD Robbery Unit, Gang Unit, and the West Anti-Crime Team arrested the fourth and final suspect in the case.

UPDATE 1/25/2017:   Three suspects are now in custody and the stolen items have been recovered.  A 24-year-old man was identified and arrested on December 31st, 2017.  On Monday, January 22nd, a 23-year-old man was arrested for his role in the robbery.  This morning, a 31-year-old man was arrested in Snohomish County. A fourth suspect remains at large.  The stolen items, ten Rolex watches, valued at close to $240,000, were recovered.  The suspects also caused significant damage to the display cases and other watches in the case during the robbery.  This remains an active and on-going robbery investigation.


Detectives are investigating after several suspects stole merchandise from a downtown jewelry store Friday evening.

Just before 6:00 pm, Seattle police responded to 4th and Pike after receiving reports of the robbery.  According to witnesses, the suspects entered the business and proceeded to smash the display cases with hammers and remove valuable items from inside the cases.  The suspects fled before police arrived.  There is limited suspect descriptions at this time.

Detectives are conducting the follow up investigation.  This remains an active and on going investigation. Anyone with information on this incident is urged to contact Seattle Police.
