Seattle Police robbery detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted for a pair of robberies last Friday, December 29th. Authorities also believe the same suspects are responsible for two robberies in Stanwood earlier this week.
Early Friday morning, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the Interbay neighborhood. Around 3:00 am Friday two suspects entered a convenience store in the 3200 block of 20th Avenue West. The suspects were wearing masks that covered their faces, and one was armed with a silver handgun. The suspects took money from the cash registere and fled the store.
Shortly before 3:30 am, officers responded to a second armed robbery in the Northgate neighborhood. Two suspects, wearing masks and armed with a handgun entered a store in the 10800 block of Roosevelt Way NE and robbed the store before they fled the store.
Police believe these two suspects are responsible for two later robberies in the Stanwood area, and detectives are also looking into the possibility that the suspects may be connected with other robberies in the region.
The Seattle cases have been assigned to a robbery detective for follow up. Anyone with information on the two Seattle cases are asked to contact Det. Rodgers at (206) 684-0821.
