Robbery detectives are currently investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred Thursday morning in the 4400 block of South Willow Street. There were no reported injuries.
At approximately 8:45 am, officers responded to the residence following a 911 call stating that an unknown suspect had broken into the home and demanded cash and jewelry. The suspect was armed with a knife. The suspect then fled westbound on Willow Street. Officers set up containment and a K-9 team responded to track the suspect. King County Sheriff’s helicopter Guardian One also responded to the scene. Despite an extensive search, the suspect remains at large.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’8″ tall, skinny, with some type of mask covering his face. It was reported that he was wearing all black clothing.
Robbery detectives responded to the scene and will have responsibility for the ongoing investigation. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Seattle Police.
