Officers are investigating after a 42-year-old male was stabbed by an unknown suspect near 4th Avenue South and South Holgate Street. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center by Seattle Fire, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Shortly before 6:30 am, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at that location. A King County Sheriff’s Office Metro officer arrived first and provided first aid to the victim until the fire department arrived and took over care. The victim had several stab wounds. Officers spoke with several witnesses at the scene, but they all gave varying descriptions of the incident and the suspect.
The best description of the suspect is a white male, late 20’s, anywhere from 5’7″ to 6’2″ tall, with blonde hair and possibly wearing a camouflage jacket.
Officers conducted a search of the area but did not locate the suspect. The victim is recovering at the hospital.
