Detectives are investigating after an 18-year-old woman was struck Wednesday evening by a driver in the Delridge neighborhood.
Police were called to the 7500 block of Delridge Way Southwest at 11:30 Wednesday for a report of a woman, who had been struck by a 35-year-old man driving a Volkswagon Passat.
Seattle Fire department Medics transported the woman to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Officers evaluated the driver who showed signs of impairment at the scene. Police later booked the man into King County Jail for investigation of vehicular assault.
Traffic collision detectives are now investigating the crash.
