Officers have taken Morgan into custody in the 2600 block of 4th Avenue. Detectives will now work with the Prosecutor’s Office as the case moves forward.
UPDATE 6/18: Detectives are still searching for suspect Erin H. Morgan, 43, for felony assault. Morgan is described as 5’7″ tall, 175 pounds. If seen, please call 911.

Police are currently searching for the suspect in a stabbing that occurred inside a Belltown apartment building this afternoon.
Just after 2:00 pm, West Precinct officers responded to a stabbing inside the building in the 2600 block of 4th Avenue. A male suspect that resides in the building stabbed another resident inside an office in the building’s lobby.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center by Seattle Fire with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect fled from the building following the stabbing. Officers are currently searching for the suspect. This remains an active and on-going investigation. If you see the suspect, please call 911.
