Man Wounded in Shooting at 2nd and Pine

UPDATE 6/18: Police detained two people in the Metro bus tunnel Monday: an adult male, who was interviewed and released, and a juvenile who was interviewed and booked into the King County Youth Service Center on unrelated warrants. Police continue to investigate this incident.


Police detained two people in downtown Seattle Monday after a man was wounded in a shooting.

Just before 1 PM, police responded to reports of gunfire at 2nd Avenue and Pine Street. Police detained two people in connection with the incident and searched the area with a K9 unit.The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate the incident and interview witnesses. We will update this post with additional information as it becomes available.
