SPD SWAT officers and Gang Unit detectives arrested a wanted felon and recovered a firearm in South Seattle on Monday.
Around 3 PM, officers spotted the 19-year-old man—who was wanted on a felony warrant for robbery, assault and possession of a stolen vehicle–walking near the 3100 block of Martin Luther King Junior Way South and took him into custody. Police recovered a handgun during the arrest.
The man is a convicted felon and unable to legally possess firearms. He was booked into the King County Jail for his warrant and unlawful possession of a firearm.
