Seattle Police Anti-Crime Team officers were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on an adult male in South Seattle just after 2 p.m. today.
When officers tried to stop the suspect, he fled in a vehicle. Due to the seriousness of the original crime and the dangerousness of the suspect, officers pursued him, ultimately receiving support from King County Sheriff’s Office Guardian 1 helicopter. The suspect was travelling east on S 212 Street, crossing the Highway 167 overpass when he stopped and ran, only to be captured by pursuing officers.
The 29 year old suspect has been booked into King County Jail on a $500,000 warrant for Assault in the first degree.
