Seattle police made a number of significant arrests, including the seizure of firearms and narcotics, around the city this August:
Officers seized several pounds of narcotics and thousands of dollars following a burglary investigation in Northgate.
Police also seized more than 200 bags of meth and heroin from a prolific dealer in lower Queen Anne.
Officers seized a gun from a 25-year-old convicted felon on First Hill after catching him breaking into a car.
A prolific Pioneer Square meth dealer landed in police custody following a two-month-long investigation.
And police seized two handguns from a man after he pointed one of them at a woman on a downtown street.
August was also an inauspicious time to be a thief at a home improvement store.
