Detectives Arrest Man for Child Pornography in Rainier Beach

Detectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) arrested a 24-year-old man early yesterday in the Rainier Beach neighborhood for investigation of sexual exploitation of children.  The man was later booked into the King County Jail.

ICAC detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) about an individual who had uploaded over fifty files of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Detectives obtained warrants for the suspect, his residence and any electronic devices.

Early yesterday morning, detectives, along with officers from the South Precinct Anti-Crime Team served the warrants at the residence.  The 24-year-old man was taken into custody without incident.  He was later booked into the King County Jail.

Detectives will conduct the forensic examination of the evidence and then forward the case to the King County Prosecutor’s Office for a filing decision.
