Detectives Arrest Man For Domestic Violence Homicide

SPD detectives booked a 65-year-old man into the King County Jail for domestic violence homicide on Wednesday following an investigation into the death of his wife.

On September 18th, just before 11:30 PM, the 65-year-old man called 911 and reported he had found his 55-year-old wife unresponsive on the floor of their home in the 2700 block of Northeast 110th Street. Medics arrived and attempted to revive the woman, but were unsuccessful.

The King County Medical Examiner’s office conducted an autopsy, found injuries on the woman’s body, and contacted Seattle police.

Homicide detectives opened an investigation into the circumstances of the woman’s death and, on Wednesday, interviewed the suspect at Seattle PD Headquarters before arresting him for homicide.
