The Seattle Police Department with assistance from the US Marshals conducted an operation Downtown Monday arresting 19 individuals for warrants and narcotics violations.
While making the arrests officers recovered 17 grams of heroin, 12.5 grams of methamphetamine, and 41 oxycodone pills as well as finding a fixed blade knife and a taser.
All 19 people were booked into King County Jail while nine of them will be charged with new crimes relating to narcotics violations, weapons violations, and one with assault on an officer.
Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Jacob Green stated, “It’s great collaborating with a hard-working and professional workforce like the Seattle Police Department.”
