Detectives are investigating after a 30-year-old man was shot during an argument Tuesday night in Downtown Seattle.
At 9:45 PM Tuesday a passerby called 911 to report a shooting at 6th Avenue and Seneca Street. The caller, a local nurse, said she was transporting the victim to the hospital.
Officers met the victim at the hospital and during the interview learned the victim was acquainted with the suspect but was unwilling to identify him to police. The victim stated the two had an argument over narcotics that ended in gunfire.
The victim was treated at Harborview Medical Center for a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
Gang Unit Detectives will conduct the followup investigation.
