On Thursday morning at about 6:15 AM, police were called to a fight disturbance at 28th Avenue East and East Madison Street.  Officers arrived and found a 59-year-old man had been stabbed in the back.  The Seattle Fire Department treated the victim and he was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers located the 38-year-old suspect, an acquaintance of the victim, in Julia Lee’s park at 2701 East Harrison Street.  Police arrested the man without incident and booked him into the King County Jail for investigation of assault.
