#2020-272846/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 9-21-2020 at 1030 hours, a woman was upset over having her possessions stolen from her friends’ car that was prowled overnight. The two became animated and were yelling at each other. The woman left her friend and went to the end of Pier 70 and jumped in the water. Seattle Fire arrived, put divers in the water, and assisted the woman to the ladder, where she climbed out. She went to Swedish for a medical evaluation. SPD Harbor was en route but was cleared before arrival, after the woman was out of the water. 

#2020-273195/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 9-21-2020 at 1641 hours, a suspect ran up to a residence and fired 10 rounds. The residence was occupied at the time of the incident. There were no injuries, only property damage. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. An area check for the suspect had negative results. 

#2020-273300/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 9-21-2020 at 1816 hours, the victims were walking through a local park looking for their recently stolen bicycle. They were confronted by the suspect who resides in the park and has bicycle parts near his tent. The suspect raised a metal object over his head in a threatening manner while calling the victims derogatory names and making derogatory statements. Both victims were in fear of an imminent assault. The victims stated they felt they were treated this way by the suspect because of their sexual orientation. The suspect was arrested and eventually booked into the King County Jail. 

#2020-273368/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 9-21-2020 at 1958 hours, officers responded to a shoplift, turned robbery in the 4400 block of Rainier AV S. The suspect stole a TracFone out of an employee’s hand and began pacing the store while followed by security. At one point, the suspect made a gun gesture with his hand and indicated that he had a real gun. No firearm was seen. The suspect threatened to shoot the security officer if he didn’t stop following him and left the store. Officers conducted an area check but did not locate the suspect. 

#2020-273484/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 9-21-2020 at 2235 hours, employees at a dispensary called to report that they had just been robbed at gunpoint by several suspects. The suspects forced the employees to open the safe, taking cash out of it. They also filled a duffle bag with various items from the store. During the robbery one suspect could be heard giving a countdown on time. The robbery took less than a minute. The suspects were seen arriving in a silver Prius with a temporary plate.
