#2020-276303/South Precinct/First Watch: 

On 9-25-2020 at 0401 hours, officers were dispatched to a hit and run collision at 3100 block Rainier Ave S. Officers were contacted by a male who reported he had been robbed at gunpoint. The victim reported he was driving when two male suspects flagged him down, pointing guns at him. The suspects took the victim’s cell phone and bank card. One of the suspects had the victim take cash out of the nearby cash machine while the other suspect drove the victim’s car around the block, removing items from the car. While the suspect was pointing a gun at the victim, another car approached and told the suspects to stop. When the suspect pointed his gun at the other car with two passengers they drove off in a hurry and crashed nearby. The vehicle occupants fled on foot. The robbery suspects also left on foot. An area check was negative. 

#2020-277475/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 9-25-2020 at 1415 hours, officers responded to a report of a felony harassment incident. The suspect was alleged to have threatened to kill the victim and stated he would slice her throat. The suspect then left the original dispute area near the parking garage and returned with sword which cause more concern to the victim. Officers then developed probable cause to arrest the suspect who was believed inside his apartment. Upon knocking and announcing their presence, patrol officers observed the suspect open the door and yell that officers should kill him. After several seconds he slammed the door and refused to speak with officers. The Hostage Negotiation Team was called and eventually established dialogue with the suspect. After repeated failed efforts to get him to surrender, SWAT was called and responded to the scene. A warrant was obtained, and the SWAT team eventually took the suspect into custody. He was later booked into the King County Jail and the sword was recovered from his apartment. 

#2020-276720/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 9-25-2020 at 1442 hours, a woman parallel parked her vehicle and noticed a gold sedan pull up next to her. The driver of the gold sedan fired eleven rounds into the victim’s vehicle. The victim was able to reverse and get out of the line of fire. The victim observed an acquaintance of hers was in the passenger seat of the suspect vehicle. The suspect vehicle left northbound on MLK. The victims were not injured. Patrol processed the scene.
