#2020-292130/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-13-2020 at 0220 hours, officers responded to the report of a possible burglary at an art studio on S King ST. The suspect vehicle was located at the scene and two suspects were located inside the car. The vehicle was stolen and involved in a burglary last night. The female in the driver’s seat was booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Possession of Stolen Vehicle. The male matched the description of a burglary suspect at Uncle Ike’s last night. He was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of burglary, case #2020-291302. 

#2020-292159/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 10-13-2020 at 0428 hours, an officer driving a marked patrol unit observed a vehicle near S. Holgate/Utah backing up from a parking space, and then suddenly pull back forward, turn off the lights and motor when the patrol unit was seen. The officer and other additional units set up for a HRVS and contacted the reported/verified stolen vehicle. The suspect and other occupants were taken into custody without further incident. Driver was booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Possession Stolen Vehicle. 

#2020-292194/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 10-13-2020 at 0545 hours, officers responded at the request of Seattle Fire to investigate a vehicle fire. The vehicle was parked in the parking lot of the Original Philly’s Restaurant, located at 3019 MLK JR Way S, and was parked in a stall next to the north wall of the restaurant. A Fire Marshal responded and screened the fire with SPD Arson Bomb Squad Unit. The suspect was observed walking around the vehicle, and then walked away, and the vehicle began to burn from the inside. The vehicle was extensively burned.  

#2020-292406/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

On 10-13-2020 at 1129 hours, officers responded to a collision with injuries at California Av SW and SW Alaska St. Officers arrived on scene and noticed that there was a male inside one of the involved vehicles. Upon contact they noticed that the male was unresponsive. Seattle Fire responded to the scene to provide medical treatment to the unresponsive subject. SFD determined that the male may have had some sort of medical episode that caused his vehicle to crash into the parked vehicle. The subject was transported to Harborview Medical Center by Medic 1. There were no other injuries reported. 

#2020-292851/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-13-2020 at 1936 hours, approximately 40-50 protesters utilizing 5-8 vehicles blocked the roadway in front of the North Precinct. 3rd watch precinct officers mobilized, securing the precinct. The Community Response Group (CRG) was contacted and responded, mobilizing to the north. The protesters gave several speeches/chanted, spray painted graffiti on the roadway, constructed a candlelight vigil, and moved multiple traffic cones/barrels into the roadway from a local construction site. The protesters remained in front of the North Precinct for approximately 2 hours before leaving in their vehicles without further incident.  

#2020-292983/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-13-2020 at 2318 hours, a man was stabbed at 201 Yesler WY in the hallway of the 8th floor. Officers responded and located the victim. Officers performed first aid until Seattle Fire arrived. The investigation revealed that the victim made a sexual gesture to the suspect in the lobby. The suspect struck the victim in the head with his fist and then followed the victim to the 8th floor where he was stabbed. The suspect may be a resident of the building, but his exact identity and location is unknown. Victim has non-life-threatening injuries and is currently at Harborview Medical Center.
