#2020-297438/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-19-2020 at 0224 hours, officers were dispatched to a robbery call in the 10200 block of Aurora Av N. According to the caller, an unknown male threatened the caller with a gun and stole his belongings. Officers arrived and contacted the caller/victim. The victim stated that he was approached by a female victim, who ask him if he wanted to have a good time. The victim stated that after he said no to the female suspect, a male suspect pulled up in a white SUV or van. The male suspect then showed the victim a gun and ordered the victim to give him his property. The victim gave suspects his wallet. The suspects then left the area in the vehicle. The suspects were not located.
#2020-297649/South Precinct/First Watch:
On 10-19-2020 at 0932 hours, officers responded to a call of a male rummaging around a parked suspicious car. Officers arrived and located the vehicle and subject. The subject began to walk away. Officers checked the vehicle plates, which came back stolen. Officers went to contact the male who attempted to flee. After a short time, officers found and detained the male. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the male had been in possession of the stolen vehicle which was taken last night in a burglary. Suspect was arrested for Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Property damage, and obstruction. Type 1 Use Of Force resulted.
#2020-298041/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 10-19-2020 at 1649 hours, South Patrol responded to Jose Rizal Park for a shots-fired called. At approximately 1710, East Patrol responded to Harborview Medical Center for a male who was dropped off with multiple gunshot wounds. The vehicle used to transport the victim, a verified SPD stolen, was abandoned at the ER ramp. Gang Unit detectives responded to HMC and spoke with the victim. The victim verified the shooting took place near Jose Rizal Park, but was not able to provide a suspect description. South Patrol processed the scene at Jose Rizal and East Patrol secured the stolen vehicle.
#2020-298223/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-19-2020 at 2148 hours, Community Resource Group (CRG) Officers were dispatched to the Ballard Target store, to investigate a threats complaint. Officers contacted the victim and determined the suspect was gone. The victim stated that while shopping at Target, the suspect approached her and confronted her about wearing a BLM facial covering. The suspect then called her a racial slur and threatened to assault her. The victim believed she was targeted because of her race.
