#2020-313335/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 11-6-2020 at 1445 hours, detectives, U.S. Marshals, and K9 conducted an arrest operation on a suspect with an outstanding SPD Murder 2 warrant. The suspect was located in a parked car on a residential street in the Rainier Valley. When detectives and Federal Marshals moved in to make the arrest, the suspect attempted to drive away. In doing so, the suspect’s vehicle clipped an unoccupied parked car and struck two SPD undercover vehicles at low speed. Damage to vehicles were minimal. The suspect was removed from his vehicle and placed into custody by U.S. Marshals.

On 11-6-2020 at 1701 hours, a suspect entered a Safeway, filled a cart with groceries, and then exited the store without paying. The suspect was confronted by employees who grabbed the cart. The suspect and an employee got into a tug of war over the cart. Officers arrived, located the suspect, and took him into custody. Type 1 UOF reported.
