Three Arrested During Capitol Hill Demonstration

Seattle Police made three arrests on Friday night during a demonstration on Capitol Hill. At about 7:48 pm, officers had announced an order to disperse when the group was blocking all lanes of traffic at E Denny Wy and E Olive Wy. The group had been blocking traffic at E Olive Wy and Bellevue Ave E a short time before moving east to the next intersection. Two subjects were arrested for crimes including failure to disperse, obstructing, resisting arrest and property damage. A third person was arrested for assault on a police officer. All three were booked into the King County Jail.
