#2021-37283/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 02-13-2021 at 1359, officers responded to an accidental shooting at a residence on S Plum St. The juvenile male accessed his grandfather’s firearm that was secured in a lock box and accidentally shot himself in the knee. Patrol officers arrived on scene and provided aid and a tourniquet until fire was able to arrive. The subject was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The family surrendered the firearm and it was placed into evidence.
