#2021-106566/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 05-02-2021 at 0054 hours, 3 suspects ran up to the main entrance door and threw eggs and balloons (filled with paint) at the door. Two more suspects ran up to the fence (NE corner, by the POV lot) and threw eggs and balloons (filled with paint) at vehicles in the dirt lot (Police vehicle and POVs). Suspects ran away on foot. Other precincts were also notified. Similar attack occurred at East prior to this event.

On 05-02-2021 at 0119 hours, officers were dispatched to a shot heard near the Cheasty Greenspace. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting. There was no victim, no damage, no witness and no suspect info. Patrol processed the scene. The report will be forwarded to the Gun Violence Reduction Unit.
#2021-106675/South Precinct/First Watch:
On 05-02-2021 at 0626 hours, a suspect & friend pulled up to a parked vehicle across from the DESC Hobson Pl Building. Suspect vehicle was unoccupied and running as they checked on an associated parked vehicle. Victim walked up to the suspect vehicle. As victim was about to enter the suspect vehicle, the suspect returned and confronted the victim, drew a firearm and shot the victim in the jaw one time. Suspect got in his vehicle and fled in an unknown direction. Passenger fled on foot on S Plum St west bound. K-9 requested but unavailable. KCSO K-9 requested but also unavailable. Evidence was collected.
#2021-106976/West Precinct/Second Watch:
On 05-02-2021 at 1516 hours, officers responded to a report of a trespass. After multiple attempts to get the suspect to leave, the suspect refused. As officers approached to make an arrest, the suspect threw a cup at one officer striking him in the head. There were no injuries to the officer. Suspect was arrested for assault on officer.
#2021-107159/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 05-02-2021 at 1915 hours, officers responded to an alarm call. Upon arrival there were clear signs of forced entry. Officers formed a contact team, located a suspect inside the building and subsequently took him into custody. The suspect was a medical decline at the King County Jail. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center under guard and will be booked upon release.
#2021-107196/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 05-02-2021 at 2013 hours, concerned citizens called 911 to report seeing a rifle leaning against a curb and no one around it. Officers responded to the scene and located an airsoft rifle in a public parking lot. The suspect (very agitated) walked up to officers and tried to claim ownership of the airsoft rifle. As the suspect yelled at officers, he kept reaching into his pocket for something. The suspect also provided officers with a false name. The suspect refused officers’ order to keep his hands out of his pocket, so he was detained for safety. While controlling the suspect, officers observed a fix blade knife in his pocket and placed him under arrest for SMC 12A.14.080f Furtively Carrying A Dangerous Weapon. As the officer was trying to place the suspect in the back of a patrol car, the suspect kicked the victim officer. The suspect was declined at the jail because he had an object inserted into his urethra. The suspect was transported to Harborview Medical Center to get it checked out and removed. He was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Assault 3 as John Doe. Hazard Report, Alert packet, worker comp. completed. The victim officer was sent to Swedish ER for medical evaluation.
