Burglary Arrest Leads to Recovery of Multiple Weapons in Belltown

Police arrested two people and recovered four handguns after being called to a burglary in progress in the 2900 block of 1st Avenue at 4:30 AM Saturday.

Early Saturday morning, West Precinct officers were dispatched to a burglary in-progress inside a Belltown apartment complex parking garage. Officers converged on the area and quickly took two suspects, a 25-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, into custody for burglary and possession of a stolen pistol.

Police found the suspect’s vehicle and served a search warrant on the car, where they located two additional handguns, a homemade shotgun, two ballistic vests, several knives, and a pepper ball gun, as well as 15 stolen packages.
