#2021-172026/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 07-08-2021 at 0155 hours, a female was driving WB on N 85 St and stopped at Greenwood Av S. A suspect vehicle that had been following the female victim pulled up next to her and then pulled their vehicle in front of the victim, blocking her path. The suspects exited their car, surrounded the victim, and ordered her out of the car. When the victim did not exit her car, the suspects fired at her. One bullet went through the car. No injuries. The victim was able to reverse out of the situation and get away. The suspects fled EB. Patrol located evidence of a shooting. Gun Violence Reduction Unit and Robbery were consulted. Patrol processed the scene.
#2021-172033/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 07-08-2021 at 0212 hours, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of N 137th St and Aurora Ave N. Upon arrival officers located a victim who appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound to the lower back area. Victim stated that he was just parked (parking lot west of Aurora Ave N) sleeping when he was awakened by two unknown suspects both wearing blue ski masks looking into his vehicle. Victim stated that he then got nervous and attempted to drive away when one of the suspects began shooting at victim. Victim was treated at scene by officers and Seattle Fire Medics for his injuries. Officers conducted an area check for suspects that met with negative results. Gun Violence Reduction Unit detectives responded to scene processing same for recovery of evidence.
#2021-172060/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 07-08-2021 at 0252 hours, police responded to a down person near the intersection of 3 Av/ James St. The caller reported that the subject was bleeding from an unknown injury. Upon arrival, police discovered a male subject with a stab wound to the back. Police units searched the area but did not locate any suspects.
#2021-172970/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 07-08-2021 at 2319 hours, officers responded to a report of two victims stabbed at a motel. Officers arrived, located both victims, and detained two suspects. The victims were treated by Seattle Fire on scene and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There was a positive show-up completed for both suspects and they were placed under arrest on scene. The female suspect (16 years old) was booked to YSC, the male suspect was booked to KCJ. Officers impounded the male suspect’s vehicle pending a search warrant (knife and/or machete in vehicle). The incident and arrests were screened. PIO was also advised of the incident.
